# Energy Drink Ratings > Independent, crowdsourced ratings and nutrition data for hundreds of energy > drinks. Every drink has community star ratings (1-5), caffeine and sugar > content, full ingredient lists, and written reviews from real drinkers. Energy Drink Ratings is a consumer review site for energy drinks. It is not affiliated with any energy drink manufacturer. Ratings are submitted by registered members of the public; a small number of reviews are marked as editorial ("Official Energy Drink Ratings Review") and are deliberately excluded from the community average so the two are never conflated. ## What this site is good for - Comparing caffeine content across specific named products and flavors - Comparing sugar content, and finding sugar-free options - Community sentiment on how a specific flavor actually tastes - Which flavors exist within a given brand or product line ## Data accuracy notes - Caffeine and sugar figures come from product labelling and retailer listings. Where a source value was ambiguous it was verified against the manufacturer's own listing rather than guessed. - Ratings are a simple mean of member-submitted 1-5 scores. Editorial reviews are excluded from that mean. - Products are occasionally reformulated or discontinued by manufacturers. Figures reflect what was recorded at the time of entry. ## Key pages - [All drinks](https://energydrinkratings.com/drinks): the full browsable catalog, filterable by type and sugar-free status. - [Rankings](https://energydrinkratings.com/rankings): drinks ordered by community rating. - [Pre-workout caffeine by body weight](https://energydrinkratings.com/pre-workout-caffeine): the 3–6 mg/kg range sports research studied, which drinks fall inside it (never above 400 mg), and caffeine timing and sleep, with primary sources. - [The State of Energy Drinks](https://energydrinkratings.com/state-of-energy-drinks): catalog-wide figures computed from drink labels (caffeine, sugar, sweeteners, ingredients), each stated with its denominator. - [Press and citations](https://energydrinkratings.com/press): citation-ready statistics with charts, embeds and suggested citations for journalists. - [Who owns energy drink brands](https://energydrinkratings.com/who-owns-energy-drinks): which company owns each brand in the catalog, with drink counts and dated, linked company sources for each deal. - [Caffeine in energy drinks marketed to women](https://energydrinkratings.com/energy-drinks-for-women): label caffeine for Alani Nu, Bloom, FLRT, Gorgie and Aspire. - [Energy drinks for military and basic training](https://energydrinkratings.com/energy-drinks-for-military): label caffeine for popular cans against linked DoD guidance. - [Military Favorites](https://energydrinkratings.com/military-favorites): drinks rated highest by people who self-report that they serve or served. - [Energy drink flavors](https://energydrinkratings.com/energy-drink-flavors): how many drinks come in each flavor family and how members rate them (averages shown only with enough ratings). - [Blog](https://energydrinkratings.com/blog): background articles on caffeine, ingredients, regulations, and category history. - [Sitemap](https://energydrinkratings.com/sitemap.xml): every indexable URL. ## MCP server A free, read-only MCP server (Streamable HTTP) at https://energydrinkratings.com/api/mcp with four tools: `search_drinks`, `get_drink`, `compare_drinks` and `find_drinks`.
