Not bad but idk it was hyped up too much
Drinkers say this doesn't quite taste like A&W root beer despite the name, with some disappointed after the hype. One reviewer praised the flavor match over competitors, though tastes clearly split on whether Ghost nailed it.

First energy drink I have had that taste like actual root beer
Label not yet re-checked
I've waited for this flavor for almost a year and had really HIGH hopes for it. I love A&W soda and Ghost did not nail the taste. Call me too harsh but they could've done better. The first 2 cans I tried had a horrible chemical aftertaste towards the bottom of the can. It's like you should gently shake before opening. Eventually, the 3rd can I had was better but Ghost should've just called this "root beer". I'm not getting much of A&W.
I will preface by saying I’m not a big root beer fan. In my opinion, this tastes pretty spot on with A&W root beer soda. I have had the Ryse and Gorilla Mind root beer flavors and would choose Ghost over the other two.
Ghost gets the high fan boy ratings, but the flavors rarely live up to the hype. This tastes nothing like A&W and is an a D Tier root beer energy drink flavor
This drink was a huge disappointment, I had high hopes and I love ghost, but this one was not it.
also root beer & cream soda, zero sugar, 200 mg
