I've waited for this flavor for almost a year and had really HIGH hopes for it. I love A&W soda and Ghost did not nail the taste. Call me too harsh but they could've done better. The first 2 cans I tried had a horrible chemical aftertaste towards the bottom of the can. It's like you should gently shake before opening. Eventually, the 3rd can I had was better but Ghost should've just called this "root beer". I'm not getting much of A&W.
Note: I have a SWEET TOOTH. This has a pleasant candy taste that I wasn't expecting. Flavor, sweetness, no aftertaste...all perfect. My favorite Phorm energy so far. Have yet to try non-carbonated drinks from them.
Note: I have a real Sweet Tooth. This tastes close to a full sugar Orange Faygo. Pretty solid drink. There is a little aftertaste that is different from typical aftertastes but the flavor and sweetness are wonderful!
It’s over 90% there compared to MD Baja Blast but it tastes like it has full sugar. Might be my new favorite BUM energy 💪
